FOUR TRIPS TO SEE
THESE
TREES.

LIGHT SHINES INTO OUR SOULS
AND WHEN WE
VISIT THE REDWOODS
WE ARE REMINDED OF THE GLORY
OF GOD
IN HIS CREATION.

IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH.
AND THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT FORM AND VOID; AND DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP.   AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS.  AND GOD SAID, LET THERE BE LIGHT.  AND THERE WAS LIGHT.

THIS IS WHAT THE HIGHWAY

WAS LIKE ON OUR WAY HOME

THE LAST TIME WE WENT.

WITHOUT SUNSHINE

TREES 

WOULD 

NOT BE ABLE TO GROW

LIKE THIS.

JUST THINK !  

GOD THOUGHT ABOUT YOU AND ME 

BEFORE WE EVER KNEW HIM !

AND HE PREPARED A WORLD WITH

SUNSHINE, AND SHADE,

WATER, SKY, AND MUCH TO GROW

BIRDS TO FLY 

AND ANIMALS TO CRAWL AND CREEP.

HOW AMAZING

My husband worked for the U S Forest Service many years.  He learned how to plant trees, take care of them, and nurture them, and then trained others to do the same.

I marvel that in God's WISDOM  he gave us L I G H T.

JESUS SAID "I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
HE THAT FOLLOWETH ME SHALL NOT WALK
IN DARKNESS, BUT SHALL HAVE THE LIGHT OF LIFE.
John 4.12

AGAIN, HE SAID
SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES; FOR IN THEM YE THINK YE HAVE
ETERNAL LIFE, AND THEY ARE THEY WHICH TESTIFY OF ME.

THE DARKNESS IN OUR SOULS
WITH HIS LIGHT,
HIS LOVE,
AND HIS DEAR SPIRIT
TO LEAD AND GUIDE US
WHEN
THERE
IS ONLY
DARKNESS
ALL ABOUT US.

AS THE DAFFODILS FINISH BLOOMING
AND APRIL TURNS TO MAY
I GIVE YOU MY ASSURANCE
THAT JUST AS PLANTING THESE BULBS
IN THE FALL
RESULTS IN SPRING BLOSSOMS,
SO TOO
THE SEED OF GOD'S WORD
WILL ALWAYS COME BRINGING
LIGHT AND JOY INTO YOUR HEART
WHEN YOU READ IT
AND LET HIS WORD
SPEAK TO YOU
AS THE DEAR SPIRIT
BREATHES LIFE INTO YOUR
WEARY TIRED SOUL.

Lighthouse by the sea

                      Come along with me 

       Walking by faith, I will keep on climbing.

            

ABIDE IN ME John chapter 15 That others may see and know  That Life is in Me. “If you abide in me, and my words Abide in you, Ye shall ask what ye will And it shall be done Unto you.”   John 15.7 Jesus knows I needed my life in Him If I am to have a living vital life And to win others  for Christ. I am only His branch. He sometimes prunes my life, and It seems so painful. Lord,  prune me that I might not just be as Fruit More fruit But Much fruit. And that my joy will remain.   With Him I will have J O Y  “Apart from me, you can do nothing.”  John 15.5 Jesus wants my joy to be full.           Therefore I must abide in Him, in His love, walking close to           Him and not concerned with the fears of personal loss, possessions, friends and family.   My abilities, my expectations are all gifts from Him to begin with, so I ought to remember that                 Forgetting                          That which is                           Behind me,                 Go forward                           Pressing onward                           To the prize of the High Calling of God                                     In Christ Jesus.                               Philippians 3.1 – 16
