THE RESURRECTION

ROMANS ch. 1: v. 1 -4 

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ,

called to be an apostle, 

separated unto the 

Gospel of God, (which

had promised afore by the 

prophets 

in the Holy Scriptures.) 

Concerning His Son Jesus Christ

which was made of the seed of 

David according to the flesh, 

And declared to be the Son of God 

with power,

according to the 

spirit of Holiness, 

by the resurrection

from the dead: 

In this Paul declares

that the 

RESURRECTION 

is the 

reality 

of God's love

toward us.

Let us consider 

His Love.

JOHN 3 .16

FOR GOD SO LOVED 

THE WORLD, 

THAT HE GAVE 

HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN

SON, THAT 

WHOSOEVER

BELIEVETH IN HIM

SHOULD NOT PERISH,

BUT

HAVE EVERLASTING 

LIFE. 

CONSIDER THESE 10 

GREAT 

TRUTHS  

FOUND IN THE BIBLE, 

KJV - THE HOLY BIBLE

1.  GOD SO LOVED

IT IS GOD Who has

taken the initiative.

I John 4.19 

We love Him, because 

He first loved us.

2. GOD'S LOVE was

demonstrated to 

the WORLD 

His Love included all of us,

everyone.

3.  GOD'S LOVE in giving

the gift of HIS ONLY

BEGOTTEN SON

- 

The SON of GOD was

from everlasting ...

 John 1.1  In the beginning 

was the Word, and 

the Word was with God, 

and the Word was God. 

John 1.2 The same was in the 

beginning with God. 

John 1.3 All things were made

by Him, and without Him

was not anything 

made

that was made.

John 1.4 

In Him was Life,

and the Life

was the Light of men. 

Think of it.

God the Father, who is 

Spirit always was 

with the Son

there never 

was a time

when 

they were apart.

The Holy Spirit 

is spoken of in 

God's Word the Bible

as "GOD." 

When Jesus was born in

Bethlehem, he did 

not begin then - 

He "was from everlasting" 

He Himself said in 

John 14.6 

I am the Way, the 

Truth, and 

the Life, 

No man cometh unto

the Father,

but by me.

When asked by Philip that

He show them the way, Jesus 

said "Have I been with you

so long a time with you , and yet

thou hast not known me, 

Philip?  he that hath seen

me hath seen the Father,: 

and how sayest thou then,

Show us the Father?

Believest thou not that 

I am in the Father,

and the Father in me?

the words that I speak 

unto you, I speak not

of myself, but the Father

that dwelleth in me, He 

doeth the works.

Believe me that I 

am in the Father,

and the Father in me: 

or else believe me for the

very works' sake. 

John 14. 6 -11

4. God's Love is the Greatest

Possession of any thing 

ever given to us.  HIS LOVE

is demonstrated from Genesis

to Revelation in that

His SON JESUS CHRIST is 

revealed in the Bible

from cover to cover.

EVERLASTING LIFE 

is the greatest possession

any one can receive.

It is available to
any 
who
will receive 
HIS GIFT OF HIS SON

5.  HIS LOVE IS FOR 

WHO SO EVER 

WILL BELIEVE

ON HIS SON JESUS CHRIST

John 1.12 

As many as received Him,

to them gave He power

to become the sons of God,

even to them that believe

on His name.

6. THE GREATEST SIMPLICITY

that GOD has given us - 

the SIMPLE 

ACT Of

BELIEVING

to trust 

to rely 

to lean upon

to put my confidence in 

SIMPLE 

FAITH

JOHN 12.48 -50

He that rejecteth me, and

receiveth not my words, hath 

one that judgeth him: the word

that I have spoken, the same

shall judge him in the last

day. For I have not spoken

of myself: but the Father

which sent me, he gave me

a commandment, what I should say,

and what I should speak.

And I know that His commandment

is life everlasting: whatsoever

I speak, therefore,

as the Father hath

said unto Me, so I speak.

John 8. 48 - 50

7. JESUS CHRIST has offered us

 

EVERLASTING LIFE -

 TO BELIEVE ON HIM IS THE GREATEST

DELIVERY 

of any promise

of any hope

of any prospect

IT IS THE SURE HOPE

IN A TROUBLED WORLD.

8.   THE GREATEST TRAGEDY

is to reject the SAVIOR

GOD"S GREATEST GIFT

is GIVEN

but He gives us a choice

He never pushes

He never chides

He only gives 

the C H O I C E 

9.  WE HAVE THEREFORE THE 

GREATEST NECESSITY 

TO  RECEIVE BY FAITH 

THROUGH GRACE

Underserved 

Unwanted

Disregarded

Disdained

YET 

GOD STILL OFFERS

A N Y O N E 

the Gift of Forgiveness

of Everlasting Life

IN HIS SON

 10.EVERLASTING

comes with

knowing

I as a sinner

need a Savior 

 God gives this 

FREE GIFT

that

when I accept the payment

of the BLOOD of JESUS

as my payment

for my sin 

debt

He not only gives 

me 

THE SPIRIT 

of JESUS 

to dwell in me.

I no longer 

am alive to sin, 

but alive to God.

I no longer 

am beholden

to 

my old sin nature

the world 

or the 

devil

for GOD 

IS 

NOW 

MY LORD AND SAVIOR

JESUS CHRIST

who 

when Love comes 

in 

fear 

goes out the door.

I John 5.4 

For whatsoever is born

of God overcometh the 

world: and this is 

the VICTORY

that overcometh

the world, 

even our 

F A I T H.

We now have

two natures,

the old and the new

The NEW is LIFE

Life living now

in Christ. 

The Greatest Gift ever given

GOD'S LOVE. 

Romans 3.23

For all have

sinned 

and come short

of the glory of God.

Romans 6.23

For the wages of sin

is death,

but the gift of God

is eternal life 

through Jesus Christ,

Our Lord. 

Isaiah 53.6 

All we like sheep have

gone astray:

we have turned

every one

to his own way;

and the LORD

hath laid on Him 

the iniquity of us all.

Luke 9.23, 24

And he said to them all,

If any man will come 

after me, let him deny himself, 

and take up his cross

daily, 

and follow me.

For whosoever

will save his life, shall

lose it: But whosoever will

lose his life for my sake shall

the same shall save it. 

I urge you to consider

that Jesus said

He is coming soon to 

take HIS BRIDE HOME

TO HIMSELF

and that means

every one who

names the Name

of Christ who truly

believes

will go to be 

with HIM...

WHEN MY MOM AND DAD MOVED 

OUR TRAILER HOME INTO A LITTLE 

TOWN IN MASSACHUSETTS 

IT SNOWED A LOT. 

AT SEVEN YEARS OF AGE

I ENJOYED WALKING ONE 

DAY AND FOUND A CHURCH

MUCH LIKE THIS ONE

AND IT WAS OPEN.

I WANDERED IN, AND LADIES 

BUSTLED AROUND 

DOING THINGS. THEY NEVER

CRITICIZED ME FOR

ENTERING.

THEY NEVER GAVE

ME ANY WORD 

AS TO WHY THEY 

WERE THERE.

I WENT AWAY

AS EMPTY 

AS WHEN I WENT IN.

LOVE JOY PEACE

IS MADE POSSIBLE 

AT CHRISTMAS 

THROUGH 

FAITH 

IN 

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Away in a manger 

No crib for a bed 

The little Lord Jesus

The stars in the sky

looked down 

where he lay,

the Little Lord Jesus

asleep in the hay." 

THIS LORD JESUS 

IS 

THE SAME

YESTERDAY

TODAY

AND

FOREVER.

Hebrews 13.8 

THIS LORD JESUS 

LOVED US AND CAME 

FROM HEAVEN TO

BECOME OUR SAVIOR

HIS NAME IS JESUS

MATTHEW 1.21 

The angel instructed Joseph "Thou shalt 

call his name JESUS, for He shall 

save His people from their sins." 

THIS LORD JESUS 

IS THE ONE 

WHO 

IS 

THE EXACT IMAGE 

OF THE INVISIBLE

GOD IN BODILY FORM,

Colossians 1.15

THIS LORD JESUS

is our source

of love 

joy 

and 

peace.

John 17. 3

And this is life eternal

that they may know 

thee the only true God, 

and Jesus Christ , whom

thou hast sent.

Jesus praying to the Father

declared Himself to be

life eternal for all

who would believe.

Isaiah 60.1  Arise, shine: for thy light is come, 

and the glory of the Lord is upon thee. 

Isaiah 60.2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover 

the earth, and gross darkness the people: 

but the LORD shall arise upon 

thee, and his glory shall

be seen upon thee.

Isaiah 60.3 

And the Gentiles shall come

to thy light, 

and kings to the brightness

of thy rising.

Isaiah 9.2  The people that 

walked in darkness have seen 

a great light: they that dwell 

in the land of the shadow of death, 

upon them hath the 

LIGHT shined.   

Isaiah 9.6 For unto us

a child is born, unto us 

a son is given.

Hebrews 13.8

Jesus Christ the same

yesterday,

today,

and for ever.

THIS WAS FULFILLED 

WHEN JESUS ROSE FROM

THE GRAVE.

I Corinthians 15. 1-10 

Paul, writing to the church in 

Corinth, states 

1.Moreover, brethren,

I declare unto you the gospel

which I preached, 

which also I have 

received, 

and wherein ye stand:

2. By which also ye are 

saved, if ye keep in memory 

what I preached unto you, 

unless ye have 

believed in vain.

3. For I delivered unto you

first of all that which I received,

how that Christ died for our sins

according to the Scriptures: 

4. And that he was buried, and 

that He rose again the third day

according to the Scriptures:

5. And that he was seen of 

Cephas, then of the twelve: 

6. After that, he was seen of above 

five hundred brethren at once; 

of whom the greater part 

remain unto this present, 

but some are fallen asleep.

7. After that he was seen of James; then of 

all the apostles. 

8. And last of all he was seen of

me also, as of one born out of

the apostles, that I am not meet 

to be called an apostle,

church of God.

JOY  COMES FROM BELIEVING 

TRUSTING CHRIST 

WILL BRING JOY 

AT CHRISTMAS.

Romans 10. 17 

faith cometh by hearing 

and hearing by the word of God.

John 1.12,13

11. As many as received him, 

to them gave he power

to them that believe on his name;

13. which were born, not of blood,

nor of the will of the flesh, 

nor of the will of man, but

of God.

John 1.14

And the Word was made flesh, and

dwelt among us, 

(and we beheld his glory, 

the glory as of the 

only 

begotten of the Father,)

full of grace and truth.

John 1.18 

No man hath seen God at any time; 

the only begotten Son, which is 

in the bosom of the Father, 

he hath declared him.  

WHEN A PACKAGE IS SENT, 

AND INSURED,

THE DECLARATION 

OF THE CONTENTS 

IS PLACED ON THE PACKAGE.

When a Ship leaves port

with any drums or 

containers or packages,

it has to have 

a DECLARATION OF CONTENTS

in it.

Even when a train leaves Birch Bay and

Blaine for other areas 

it must be examined 

for "bombs"  or "explosives"

or "drugs" 

Contraband is not allowed.

A declaration of all contents

is necessary for the 

authorities 

to let it pass through 

the border here

from 

the U S A 

to Canada,

and 

from

Canada 

to 

U S A 

Joy comes out of Sorrow

Jesus said in Matthew 4.17  Repent;

for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Jesus said in Mark 1.15 

The time is fulfilled, and the 

kingdom of God is at hand; 

repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Luke 4.21 

And he began to say unto them,

this day is this scripture fulfilled in 

your ears.

He read from Isaiah 61.2 

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, 

because he hath anointed me 

to preach the gospel to the 

poor; he hath sent me to heal

the brokenhearted, to preach

deliverance to the captives,

and recovering of sight 

to the blind, and

to set at liberty 

them that are 

bruised.

This was Jesus declaring 

WHO HE WAS AND WHAT HE 

WAS HERE FOR.

PEACE COMES

WHEN WE ARE

RECONCILED TO GOD.

Romans 3.23  All have 

sinned and come short 

of the glory of God.

Romans 6.23 For the 

wages of sin is death,

but the gift of God is 

eternal life 

through 

Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus prayed 

a prayer that is recorded 

in John chapter 17.

I consider it

THE LORD'S PRAYER 

for the prayer 

most people know

is the 

MODEL PRAYER 

that Jesus gave to show 

his disciples how to pray.

John chapter 17 

He talks with the Father 

and I recommend you

read it for this Christmas

as this is why 

He was born in

Bethlehem 

more than 2000 years ago.

He who IS AND WAS 

AND ALWAYS SHALL BE

is 
the same one 
who will come 
to take 
His bride the 
Church home 
to be with him for ever.
