MY LIGHTHOUSE BY THE SEA

Paintng from years ago  

which I used for my Blog.   

It was in 2015 that I moved here

to Blaine, WA from Ellensburg, WA.

In 2012 Henry went on to glory

and it has been almost 10 years 

this year in the month of June.

                               As the birds migrate in their

season, so too, we find ourselves

thrust forth into another year.

My focus is upon the 

PROMISE 

that our Lord Jesus Christ 

gave to us before

He ascended up to Heaven.

Matthew 28. 18 - 20 

18. And Jesus came and spake

unto them, saying, 

All power is given unto me 

in heaven and in earth.

19. Go ye therefore, and teach

all nations,  baptizing them

in the name of the Father,

and of the Son,

and of the Holy Ghost:

20/ Teaching them to observe all

things whatsoever I have 

commanded you: 

and, lo, 

I am with you alway,

even to the end of the world.

When I came to Jesus as a young
woman of ten years of age, I was 
called to tell others just as 
Jesus said.   He gave that 
great commission 
because He 
wants us to be 
a part of the 
plan 

HIS LOVE FOR US 

WAS WITHOUT MEASURE

AND HOW

CAN WE GIVE 

LESS

THAN

GIVE 

OUR  LIVES

TO HIM.

When I was a little girl in Adams, Massachusetts,

I knew that I had a special purpose 

and that I wanted to know

just what 

that 

purpose was.

My mother told me,

when I was only three years old,

"When you grow up, I want you to tell me 

so the I can believe also.

and here in this photo I was all of five 

years, so I was FOCUSED 

ON FINDING OUT 

THE PURPOSE 

OF GOD IN MY LIFE.

and now here I am

in Whatcom County, WASHINGTON STATE

right near the border of British Columbia

CANADA, 

and at the edge of 

DRAYTON HARBOR 

which is situated

just at THE PORTAL OF THE 

SAN JUAN ISLANDS

And I am blessed indeed.

MY JOURNEY has taken

me from the East Coast of the 

United States to 

the very opposite 

corner here in

Blaine.

in the Lord Jesus Christ

have received 

Him personally into

their heart and life

will go

INSTANTLY 

AT THE BLINK OF AN EYE 

and ONLY THOSE

will see it happen.

Jesus said in John chapter 14.

verses 1 - 3 

Let not your heart be 

troubled: ye believe in God,

believe also in me.

In my Father's house are 

many mansions; 

if it were not so, I would

have told you. 

I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare 

a place for you,

I will come again,

and receive you unto myself;

that where I am, 

there ye may be also. 

He is coming in the clouds 

Every time I look up 

I remember what He said

that HE IS COMING 

My great grandfather Luther W. Brewer 

lived in Exeter N H when they 

raised their daughter Lillias May Brewer.

My grandfather Forrest Raymond 

Carpenter of Cheshire, MA, USA 

met and married her in 1914.

The house you see at the 

beginning of this post is the 

home they had on

the shore of 

YORK BEACH, MAINE

where it still exists today.

It is a RENTAL now, and 

some added features have been

made to it, but it is still there.

\Here they were - playing croquet 

at their place in York Beach, Maine

together.    

We called them  "May-mie"  (Mamie) and 

"Bampy"  

Their real names were 

Luther Wilbur Brewer and Vida May (Ingalls)

It was 1910 - 1914 that 

this photo was taken.

This was the photo taken when

my Mother Vida May was only 3 days old.

It was 1915.  

The whole world was at war, 

but my Grandmotherr

and Grandfather 

BELIEVED GOD

WAS WITH THEM

AND THEY WERE

RAISING THEIR FAMILY.

TODAY we 

still have the challenge

to do the same.

WE ARE TO LIVE IN 

THE LIGHT OF 

CHRIST'S SOON 

COMING

YET WE ARE 

TO KEEP ON 

DOING 

AND 

BEING 

AND 

LOVING

AS MUCH AS

WE CAN DO,

GOD HELPING

US.

You see I was a happy

loved on me a lot. 

I was a little Redhead

with long hair 

and wavy. 

I remember just how much

my aunties 

and uncles doted on me.

Mother had 4 sisters

and so they 

really were 

like BIG SISTERS 

to me. 

My father is here with Mother

and Grandmother, and my 

beloved Aunties.

Granddad -

Here in Blaine WA,  My Home By the Sea,

I had brother Tom, his wife Tencha, sister Cheryl

and John Wojdak, with me found ourselves

reunited for "a little time" together.

In this life of ours, 

Do you LIVE AS THOUGH

IT REALLY MATTERS? 

As I think about my life

here in Blaine, WA

I am sure that my life 

DOES MATTER.

SO. 

I  AM LIVING WITH ETERNITY

IN MY VIEW 

AS BEING 

A REAL

SURETY.

We will either live eternally

for ever with God

or with out Him,

depending on 

HOW WE VIEW LIFE

right now 

for 

Jesus said, 

JOHN 12. 48 

He that rejecteth me, 

and receiveth not 

my words, 

hath one 

that judgeth him: 

the Word which I have

spoken, 

the same  shall judge

him in the last day.

Again, 

Jesus said, 

I  am the Light of the world;

he that followeth me, 

shall not 

walk in darkness,

but shall

have 

the light 

of life.

John 8.12  

How precious TIME is.

How much do you value your TIME?

How much do you value your LIFE? 

Some years ago, we 

traveled all over, while my 

husband was ministering to folk. 

And now, I am here, 

dependent upon others

to take me places 

and get me to my 

needed appointments 

and business.

How do you view

your Life ? 

Does it matter to you 

How you perceive Your Self 

will to a large amount

determine 

WHETHER IT MATTERS OR NOT ! 

My Life is TO BE LIVED

Life is to be lived, 

one 

step 

at a time

until 

we arrive at the crest,

Wistfully looking at

the horizon

below, and before

one step

begins 

the  descent

around

and 

down...

All the while

remembering 

the splash of colors

the shadows and shapes

the hint 

of glory to come.

Life is to be lived, 

Until 

we reach our Final Home,

Heaven, or 

Hell, 

For the Believing One 

Heaven 

is My Home.

For the One who 

rejects 

Believing in 

the Lord Jesus Christ

as the only 

Begotten of the Father

who came 

to Redeem Us

and to 

Save Us

from our lost 

condition.

John 3.16 

Jesus said, 

For God so loved the world

that he gave his only  begotten

Son that whoso ever believeth 

in him should not perish,

but 

have everlasting life.

Again, 

John chapter 3.17

For God sent not his Son

into the world 

to condemn the 

world

but that the world

through him

might be saved.

Jesus was speaking this

to Nicodemus.

It is over 

and 

over

again

that Jesus made

the claim

that if a person

believed in Him and 

took His Word 

as True

then they

would find

it really MATTERED.

SO I SAY TO YOU

DOES IT MATTER?

ARE YOU WILLING

TO SAY?

I am a sinner 

in 

need of a 

Savior? 

 

ARE YOU WILLING

TO AGREE

with 

God that 

without Him,

you 

are in the 

darkness

walking 

as though

you had nowhere to go

and 

only 

living for what 

life gives you today

in the moment

of 

pleasure 

or 

passing 

interest,

and 

what 

you love most 

right now

is 

just your Self.

Just as the Purple Aster - is faithful to come 

back every year, it roots down in the earth, and 

it displays its character.

Jesus said, 
John 14.6 
I am the Way, the Truth
and the Life;
No man cometh 
to the Father,
but by me." 
Again he said, 
John 14.36
He that believeth on the Son
hath everlasting life; 
and he that believeth not
the Son 
shall not see Life,
but the wrath of God 
abideth on him.

Does it matter to You?  
that 
Christ dieds for our sins?
I Corinthians 15. 3,4
tell us 
in the words of 
Paul the Apostle
"For I delivered unto you
first of all, 
that which I also received, 
that Christ died for our sins 
according to the Scriptures,
and that he was buried,
and that he rose again 
the third day 
according to 
the Scriptures.

When Jesus was born 
He did not begin there.
John 1.1 - 4  tells us 
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word
was with God,
and the Word 
was 
God.
The same was 
in the beginning
with God.
All things were
made by him,
and without him
was not 
anything
made
that was made.
In him was life,
and the life
was the light of men.

So I leave you with this 

thought, 

that it matters 

if I live 

as though 

it matters.

Taking God at His Word,

you can start right now

to trust His 

Word

and 

live 

as though

it really DOES 

MATTER.

Determined to keep on

posting, I know I have

macular degeneration

and could be blind any

moment. 

But for the little

time I have,

I will 

keep on

climbing 

ever higher

and 

one day

I will be

with my precious

Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus said,

Matthew 10.32 - 40

that it costs 

something 

to follow 

Him.

10.32 Whosoever 

therefore shall confess me

before men, him will I

confess also before 

my Father

which is in heaven.

33. But whosoever

shall deny me 

before men 

him will I also deny

before my Father

which is in heaven. 

34. Think not that I

am come to send 

peace on earth; 

I came not to send

peace, but 

a 

sword;

35. For 

I am come to set

a man at variance

against his father,

and 

the daughter

against her mother, and 

the daughter-in-law against

her mother-in-law.

36. And a man's

foes shall be they of his own

household.

37 He that 

loveth father or mother

more than me 

is not worthy 

of me;

and he that

loveth 

son or daughter

more than me

is not

worthy of me.

38. and he that taketh not 

his cross, and

followeth after me,

is not worthy of me.

39. He that findeth

his life shall lose it;

and he that loseth his life

for my sake

shall find it.

40. He that receiveth

you

receiveth me, and

he that receiveth me,

receiveth 

Him that sent me.

So by trusting Jesus

because it MATTERS to you

and 

He paid the price of your sin

fully 

completey

and 

said

"it is finished" 

when he died on the Cross.

And he rose from the grave,

by the power of 

His Resurrection

you and I have

a life to life that

really matters.

Colossians 1.27 

Christ in you, the hope of glory

is the revealed 

truth 

we can believe.

Only to be 

what He wants me to be

Every moment

of every day,

Yielded 

completely 

to Jesus alone,

Every step of my 

pilgrim way.

Just to clay in the

potter's hand,

Ready to do 

what His Word 

commands,

Only to be 

what He wants me to be

Every moment 

of Every 

Day.

These Brown eyed Susans are 

happily blooming today on my

patio.   I want to bloom for Him.

Taking Seven Steps

of Imagination and Faith.

Philippians 4.8. Finally,brethren,whatsoever is true,
whatsoever things are honest,whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely
,whatsoever things are of good report;if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things. 

               So I give you seven step. 

        Before I do this, 

the matter of New Birth must be addressed.

 I  must first admit to God

 that I am lost without him 

and needing forgiveness.  

Romans 3.23 tells us All have sinned 

and come short of the glory of God. 

         Again Romans 6.23 tells us The wages of sin is death,  

but the gift of God 

is eternal life 

through Jesus Christ our Lord.   

    So great is God's love 
that we not only are forgiven 
He sets us free to live as His sons
with all the inheritance rights
legally given us....

John 3.16
For God so loved the world
 that he gave his only begotten Son that
 whosoever believer in him should not perish, 
but have everlasting life.

 Ephesians 2.1 
 And you he hath quickened
 who were dead in trespasses and sins

 
In doing this, we become brand new creatures

John 3.3 Jesus tells Nicodemus, 
Verily verily I say unto thee,
ye must be born again. 

Note: in regard to "thee" and "thou"...
                           It is there for the reason that he
is saying you 
and you yourself
 must be born again.  
 You was not just you. 
"you"  referred to anyone.

 "Ye" indicated this was individually done. 

Just as we are born physically
 and celebrate our birth day 

we need a spiritual birth that happens 
only when by God's undeserving love 

He grants us the gift of life. 

 

And even when we do open that heart 

to believe we cannot get any credit.  

God is the one who keeps gently knocking

 and the Spirit of God from within 

helps us take that step 

from death 

to life,

from darkness to light,

from fear to faith.  

  He comes

 in at that moment

 and changes us.

    Each of us as one at a time 

we find His spirit living in us,

 and He gives us the assurance

 that I am his child ...no longer lost

 and alone 

but sure

 of peace with God .  

 Romans 5.1

 tells us being justified by faith

 we have peace with God

 through

our Lord Jesus Christ.  

THIS IS WHERE WE CAN BEGIN,

TAKING THE SEVEN STEPS

OF IMAGINATION

AND  FATIH...

We may start looking (1) The True. 

(2) The Beautiful. (3) The Good. 

(4) The Right. 

(6) The ways and means 

of putting these into our lives 

                               and  (7) The Methods to do it         

then as we use these in doing them

 day by day

 step by step

 our life character

is shaped and molded

which God wants in us.  

God is not only the starter of our faith,

He will guide us to be like Jesus

 and will stay with us

 till one Day we see Him face to face.  

 The Bible is our source

 of all we need for this.

5.1  Therefore being justified by faith, 

we have peace with God 

through our 

Lord Jesus Christ.

5.2 By whom also we have 

access by faith 

into this grace wherein we 

stand, and rejoice 

in hope of the glory 

of God. 

5.3  And not only so, 

but we glory in tribulations 

also: knowing

that tribulation

worketh patience; 

5.4  And patience, 

experience; and experience

hope; 

5.5 And hope maketh 

not ashamed, because 

the love of God 

is shed abroad 

in our hearts 

by the Holy Ghost 

which is given unto us.

5.6  For when we were yet 

without strength, 

in due time Christ died 

for the ungodly.

5.7 For scarcely for a righteous

man will one die: yet 

peradventure for a 

good man 

some would even dare

to die.

5.8  But God commendeth 

His love toward us, in that 

while we were yet sinners, 

Christ died for us.

5.9  Much more than, being

now justified by His blood, 

we shall be saved 

from wrath 

through him.

5.10  For if, when we were 

enemies, we were 

reconciled to God 

by the death of his Son, 

much more, 

being reconciled, 

we shall be saved by 

His Life.     

5.11   And not only so, 

but we also joy in God 

through our Lord Jesus Christ

by whom we have 

now received 

the atonement. 

5.12   Wherefore, as by one 

man sin entered into the 

world,  and death by sin;

 and so death passed upon all men

for that all have sinned; 

5.13  (For until the law 

sin was in the world: 

but sin is not imputed 

when there is no law.

 Many professing Christians today are 

unstable, uncertain, and constantly 

seeking for "revival" but 

in themselves do not have joy, 

nor do they seem to know

victory over 

the lust of the flesh, 

the lust of the eyes,

and 

the pride of life.

I John 2.15, 16

15. Love not the world, 

neither the things that are in 

the world. If any man 

love the world, the love 

of the Father is not in him.

16. For all that is in the world, 

the lust of the flesh, 

and the lust of the eyes, 

and the pride of life,

is not of the Father,

but is of the world.

II Corinthians 15.58 

Therefore, 

my beloved brethren, 

be ye steadfast,

unmoveable,

always abounding 

in the work of the 

Lord, 

forasmuch as ye know 

that your labour is not 

in vain in the Lord. 

Our Lord wants us to be 

fruitful, and constant.

Jesus told the disciples

"If ye abide in me, 

and my words abide in you,

ye shall ask what ye will,

and it shall be done unto you.

John 15.7 

Before Jesus went to the Cross, 

he told the disciples 

"These things have I spoken

unto you, that in me 

you might have peace. 

In the world ye shall 

have tribulation, 

but be of good cheer, 

I have overcome the

world." 

OUR FAITH IS THE 

VICTORY 

THAT OVERCOMES

THE WORLD.

1 John 5.4 

Whatsoever is born of God 

overcometh the world: and 

this is the victory 

that overcometh 

the world, 

even our faith.

LET US CONSIDER 

THINGS ABOUT 

OUR VICTORY

I.

IT IS A WAY OF LIFE

As "justified" 

I have been declared 

legally by God

through 

the blood of Jesus 

NOT GUILTY.

All have sinned and

come short of the 

glory of God 

Romans 3.23

is followed

by verse 

24 

which states 

"being justified freely

by his grace 

through the 

redemption

that is in Christ". 

\Our Saviour leads today

into victory 

Jesus fulfilled everything 

needed 

for us 

to live 

this victorious life.

Psalm 55.22 

Cast thy burden upon 

the LORD; and He shall sustain 

thee

Matthew 11.28 - 30 

Come unto me 

All ye that labour and 

are heavy laden, and

I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you,

and learn of me, 

for I am meek 

and lowly in heart; 

and ye shall find 

rest 

unto your souls, 

for my yoke 

is easy 

and my

burden 

is light. 

As we pick up the yoke

Christ offers, 

It is HE THAT 

BEARS THE LOAD

Instead of focusing

on how big the load is,

let us 

LET GOD LIFT OUR LOADS.

ROMANS 12.1,2  

I Beseech you therefore, brethren,

by the mercies of God

to present your bodies 

a living sacrifice 

unto God, 

which is your 

reasonable 

service.

and be not 

conformed 

to the world,

but be ye 

TRANSFORMED 

by the renewing of 

your mind,  

that ye may prove

what is that good,

and acceptable,

and perfect, 

will of God.  

GALATIANS 2.20 

I am crucified with Christ: 

nevertheless, I live, yet not

I, but Christ liveth

in me, 

and the life

which 

I now live 

in the flesh, 

I live 

by the faith 

of the  

Son of God 

who loved me 

and gave himself 

for me.  

When a certain man was 

carrying his bundle 

on his back 

down the 

road 

he was 

struggling 

with his burden.

A wagon driven 

by a man who offered

to let him 

ride with him

in the wagon.

The traveler 

then got into the wagon,

and sat down.

Sometime later

the driver looked 

back to see how 

his guest was 

doing, 

and he noticed

that 

the 

man still had

the pack on his

back.

He did not let 

go of it.

SO WE TAKE OUR LOAD 

TO THE LORD 

AND LEAVE IT THERE.

HE PROMISED TO 

LIFT OUR LOAD

OUR 

BURDEN

OUR 

NEEDS

OUR HEART CRY 

FOR HELP

II  VICTORY IN DEATH 

Through Christ we have victory 

not only over life,

but over death.

Isaiah 25.8 - 9  

8. He will swallow up 

death in victory; and 

the LORD God will 

wipe away tears 

from all faces; 

and the rebuke of

his people 

shall he take

away 

from off 

all the earth: 

for the LORD hath 

spoken it.

v.9  And it shall 

be said in that day

"Lo, this is our God, 

We have waited for Him,

we will rejoice and 

be glad in 

His Salvation." 

Y'SHUA 

in Matthew 1.21 

"Thou shalt call his name

JESUS for he shall save his 

people from their sins.

Being dead to sin 

and alive to God 

Being justified 

Being sanctified 

we not only 

are 

IN POSITION 

WITH CHRIST 

IN THE HEAVENLIES

III. VICTORY IN THE FUTURE 

WILL COME.  

IN GOD'S EYES

WE ARE 

ALREADY 

SEATED 

WITH JESUS

AT 

THE RIGHT

HAND 

OF THE FATHER.

IN GOD'S EYES

PAST 

PRESENT 

AND 

FUTURE 

ARE 

ALL IN HIS HANDS.

JESUS IS CALLING US

TO FOLLOW HIM

HE HAS MADE THE WAY

HE DWELLS IN US 

THROUGH THE 

DEAR 

SPIRIT 

THE HOLY GHOST

WHO 

WILL

ALWAYS 

EXALT 

JESUS 

TO THE 

GLORY 

OF

GOD THE FATHER
