PRAY WITHOUT CEASING -  

WORK FAITHFULLY -  

MAKE STRAIGHT
THE PATHS 

  

When my children were growing up they knew

their Mother and Father were busy and occupied in

giving their efforts in helping a local 

Church to be what it should be -

A LIGHTHOUSE.

A LIGHTHOUSE GIVES LIGHT

SO THAT POSSIBLE ROCKS

IN THE WATER CAN BE 

AVOIDED

IT ALSO HELPS TO

LIGHT UP THE DARKNESS

SO THAT A SHIP CAN

FIND ITS WAY.

WHATEVER A CHURCH IS NAMED

IS NOT THE POINT.

IT IS WHETHER IT STICKS 

FAITHFULLY

LIKE GLUE

TO THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD

TO THE PRECEPTS THAT IT HOLDS FORTH

AND TO THE 

BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES

IT GIVES US.

ALL WE EVER NEED 

IS THE WORD OF GOD 

FOR TODAY

THAT IS ALL WE HAVE

IN THE DARK NIGHT OF

SIN THAT 

FOLDS ITSELF

OVER EVERY ASPECT

OF LIFE 

FROM BIRTH

TO

DEATH.

LIFE.

LIFE ETERNAL.

LIFE EVER LASTING.

FOR EVER AND FOR EVER.

WHAT DOES IT 

REALLY MEAN 

TO 

LAST 

FOR EVER ?

For God So loved the World
that He gave his only 
begotten Son that 
whosoever 
believeth in him
should not perish,
but have 
everlasting 
life.
JOHN 3.16

Matthew 5.16

Let your light so shine 

before men

that they may see

your good works

and 

glorify your

Father which is in

heaven.

I was just a child 

in 1935.   Here I am 

just barely two years old

and I thought 

I was helping my 

Grandmother

in the garden ! 

Oh ! my !  

I know now how

much she loved me 

and wanted me to 

learn how

to do 

and be

all I could be 

for God.

Do you know 

we are all

LITTLE CHILDREN? 

So often 

we are unable 

to do for our self

until some ONE 

takes a hand to 

teaching 

a new truth

and a new way

to me.

I challenge you that
the Great Commission 
in Matthew 28.18 - 20 
is the CORE TRUTH
of the LIGHT we are to 
display 
in our lives.
WITH THE LOCAL 
BODY OF BELIEVERS
A LIGHT CAN SHINE
EFFECTIVELY
IT SHOWS HOW
WE CAN LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
IT SHOWS A 
BIG CONTRAST WITH 
WHAT THE WORLD HAS TO 
OFFER.
Jesus said,  
"Upon this rock will I build my 
church, and the gates of hell
shall not prevail
against it.
Matthew 16.18.
Peter had just responded to
the question that 
Jesus gave,  
"Whom do you say
that I am?"
And Simon Peter answered
and said unto him,
Thou art the Christ,
the Son of the Living God."
Matthew 16. 16.
In John chapter 13
v 33, 34
Jesus told the 
disciples
"A new commandment I give
unto you,
that ye love one another; 
as I have loved you, 
that ye love one another.

  My buddies here are

 on my bed, reminding me

 of loved ones near and far, 

of loved ones I knew who are

 now in Heaven, and others, 

who are still here. 

 Knowing my life

belongs to God through His Son 

the Lord Jesus, 

Romans 12. 1, 2  (1) “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service, (2) and be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”   

Pull out the stops and let God stretch my heart and soul and mind.    Mull on His Word.   Energize it.    Visualize it.  

Be able to say what God is telling me through His Word. 

  

     II Timothy 2.15  “Study to shew thyself approved unto  

God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” 

 

Jesus kept his goal in mind all the time He was here on earth, that He would be the Lamb Slain from before the foundation of the world.   He never let down on that goal.     

 

Philippians 2.5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, 2.6 who being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God,: 2.7 but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 2.8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.2.9 Wherefore God hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 2.10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth: 2.11 and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” 

 

Bringing every thing in my life to center upon having this same mind which was also in Christ Jesus, I purpose to let God’s Spirit teach me through His Word, to apply what I know, and to keep listening to the Spirit’s voice in the Word, and to heed what God is asking me to do.      

 

I purpose to SYNERGIZE by doing this. 

The body of Jesus Christ is the Church.   His local church is the means whereby He brings us together into Oneness, striving together in the ministry, that God be glorified through His Son the Lord Jesus.  

                 Still I need to start on my self, not others.

                    As I depend on God to help me, I know 

                        I can trust Him to do the same 

                             for others too. God's time table

                               for me may not be the same 

                                as yours may be.

IF I WANT TO GET SOMEWHERE

I FIRST HAVE TO KNOW

WHERE 

I AM GOING.

SO, I BEGIN 

WITH THE END IN MIND.

THE BIRTH DAY OF THE KING - THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

    THE BIRTH DAY OF THE KING 

FOR UNTO YOU IS BORN THIS DAY IN 

THE CITY OF DAVID, A SAVIOR,

 WHICH IS CHRIST THE LORD.   Luke 2.11  

   

Luke 2.7  And she brought forth her first-born

son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Luke 2.8  And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flocks by night.

Luke 2.9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them, and they were sore afraid.  

Luke 2.10  And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for, 

behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Luke 2.11  For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. 

Luke 2.12  And this shall be a sign unto you, Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

Luke 2.16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe  lying in a manger. 

Luke 2.17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying, which was told them concerning this child.

Luke 2.18  And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

Luke 2.19  But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. 

Luke 2.20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Luke 2.21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Matthew 1.21 

And thou shalt call his name JESUS, for he shall save his people from their sins.   

The angel which spoke to Joseph (Matthew 1.19 - 21) gave Joseph to understand that THIS HOLY ONE which would be born was of the HOLY SPIRIT, the HOLY GHOST, and of GOD.   

He was instructed not to be afraid to take unto himself his wife, for she was indeed his wife, and she had not betrayed him.  He had been considering putting her away "privately"  for he did not wish to "scandalize" her.   Legally he was MARRIED TO MARY, they were not just engaged as people do today - they were BETROTHED - which meant 

they were LEGALLY MAN AND WIFE 

As the Son of David, the Angel spoke to him saying

this was to be the Christ, the Savior of the world.  He was to be the One whom the Lord had promised back when Adam and Eve had fallen into sin, and when God spoke to the Serpent, God declared that "I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Genesis 3.15 

Every woman longed for that Promised Messiah.

And here it was T I M E.   

Galatians 4.4 When the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son,  made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law,

Galatians 4.5  to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

Galatians 4.6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Galatians 4.7 Wherefore thou art no more a servant but a so: and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

LEGALLY, THE BIRTH OF THE KING

AND THE DEATH OF THE KING 

AND THE RESURRECTION OF THE KING

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

SAVIOR OF THE WORLD

MAKE YOU AND I WHO BELIEVE ON JESUS

THE LEGAL INHERITORS OF 

THE NEW TESTAMENT OF HIS BLOOD

SHED FOR US.

WE ARE ADOPTED INTO THE FAMILY

JESUS SAID, WHEN HE TOOK THE BREAD,

AND THE CUP AT PASSOVER, BEFORE HE 

WENT TO THE CROSS "TAKE, EAT YE ALL OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BLOOD OF THE NEW TESTAMENT 

SHED FOR MANY FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS.

Matthew 26. 28  

FORGIVEN.

REMISSION MEANS BEING FORGIVEN

Matthew 28.18 -20 

Jesus came and spake unto them saying, 

All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,

baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, 

and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost,

Teaching them to observe whatsoever I have 

commanded you, and lo, I am with you always,

even unto the end of the world.

THERE IS ONLY ONE NAME.

NOT THREE

ONLY ONE.

"THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND OF THE SON,

AND OF THE HOLY GHOST." 

Jesus claimed to have LIFE

John 14.6 

I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh 

unto the Father, but by me. 

Again, Jesus said 

John 6.47 -48

Verily, Verily, I say unto you,

He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

I am that bread of life.

John 6.51

I am the living bread which came down from heaven: 

If any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever; and

the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give 

for the life of the world.

Jesus was saying that His death would be 

the payment for our sin.   And believing on Him

is a simple CHOOSING TO BELIEVE 

THAT HE HAS COME FROM THE FATHER

THAT TO BELIEVE ON HIM IS TO BELIEVE 

THE FATHER 

TO BELIEVE THAT HIS BLOOD HAS 

COVERED MY SINS

IS TO BECOME 

A CHILD OF THE FATHER 

In John 14.7,8 

Jesus went on to say this: 

"If ye had known me, you should have 

known my Father also; and from henceforth

ye know him, and have seen him.

Philip saith unto him, "Lord, show us

the Father, and it sufficeth us." 

John 14.9  

Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time

with you, and yet hast thou not known me, 

Phillip?   he that hath seen me hath seen the 

Father, and how sayest thou, 

shew us the Father? 

John 14.10 

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, 

and the Father in me? 

the words that I speak unto you I speak not 

of myself: but the Father that dwelleth 

in me, he doeth the works.

FOR THIS CHRISTMAS 

WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT THE GIFT ? 

TO BELIEVE ON JESUS 

IS TO BELIEVE ON THE FATHER

THAT SENT HIM

TO BELIEVE THAT JESUS 

CAME AS GOD'S VERY WORD DECLARED

VERY EXPRESS IMAGE OF THE FATHER

IS TO KNOW 

THAT HE DID NO SIN OF HIS OWN

HE PAID ON THE CROSS 

FOR OURS 

HIS RESURRECTION

GUARANTEES 

OUR LIFE 

IN 

GOD

BY MAKING

US

SONS

WITH THE RIGHT STANDING

WITH THE POSITION

OF LEGAL RIGHT

TO THE THRONE ROOM

SO NOW YOU AND I 

CAN PRAY

CAN 

SAY

AND 

LAY

OUR HEARTS 

OUR SOULS

OUR DESIRES

OUR BURDENS

OUR CARES

OUR SORROWS

INTO HIS CARE

INTO THE HEART OF GOD.

John 14. 12 - 13

Verily, Verily, I say unto you, He that 

believeth on me, the works that I do shall 

he do also, and greater works than these shall

he do; because I go to the Father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name,

that will I do, that the Father may be 

glorified in the Son.

He repeats,

John 14.14 

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 14.19 

Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no 

more, but ye see me: because I live, ye shall

live also.

Acts 4.12 

NEITHER IS THERE SALVATION IN ANY OTHER;

CHRISTMAS IS JESUS' BIRTH DAY

ONE DAY WHEN HEAVEN WAS FILLED WITH HIS PRAISES,

ONE DAY WHEN SIN WAS AS BLACK AS COULD BE,

JESUS CAME FORTH TO BE BORN OF A VIRGIN,

DWELT AMONG MEN, MY EXAMPLE IS HE ! 

LIVING, HE LOVED ME,

DYING, HE SAVED ME ! 

BURIED, HE CARRIED MY SINS FAR AWAY !

RISING, HE JUSTIFIED !

FREELY  FOREVER ! 

ONE DAY HE'S COMING - O GLORIOUS DAY !

ONE DAY THE LED HIM UP CALVARY'S MOUNTAIN,

ONE DAY THEY NAILED HIM TO DIE ON THE TREE,

SUFFERING ANGUISH, DESPISED AND REJECTED,

BEARING OUR SINS, MY REDEEMER IS HE ! 

LIVING, HE LOVED ME !

DYING, HE SAVED ME!

BURIED, HE CARRIED MY SINS FAR AWAY !

RISING, HE JUSTIFIED FREELY FOREVER !

ONE DAY HE'S COMING ! - O GLORIOUS DAY! 

ONE DAY THE TRUMPET WILL SOUND FOR HIS COMING,

ONE DAY THE SKIES WITH HIS GLORY WILL SHINE !

WONDERFUL DAY, MY BELOVED ONES BRINGING ! 

GLORIOUS SAVIOR ! THIS JESUS IS MINE !
