How wonderful it is to know that the Lord Jesus Christ who told Peter to cast his net to catch fish, after they had toiled all night and got nothing, and here they were, mending their nets, and he who knew nothing about fishing told them to CAST THEIR NETS OUT - Peter said, well, I don't think it do any good, but I will.
Oh my ! Aren't we like that today? The harvest is ripe for the taking, and we hesitate - what if nothing takes the bait? What if ? We have so many reasons to keep us from the excitement of having a FULL NET THAT IS ABOUT TO BREAK so that Peter and his brother had to ask for help from the others on another boat.
The purpose Jesus had in coming to be among us was to manifest who the Father was, and is, and always will be. He perfectly showed us in the Bible who our God really is, and how much He cares for us.
